The Opportunity We are looking for a hands-on Team Lead/Specialist AI & Automation to lead the discovery, design, and delivery of automation solutions across Finance and FinTech. You will combine code, low-code, no-code, APIs, workflow tools, RPA, and AI to improve how data and work move through business processes. This role will own a major automation workstream or a small set of related solutions, from discovery and design through implementation, adoption, and production support.

As a JC4 Team Lead, you will remain hands-on while coordinating delivery, supporting team members, reviewing solution quality, and keeping stakeholders aligned. Key Responsibilities Lead the discovery, design, delivery and ongoing maintenance of automation solutions for Finance and FinTech teams, including new initiatives, change requests, process enhancements, production support, incident resolution activities.

Map process and data flows, identify pain points, and recommend suitable solutions using code, low-code, no-code, RPA, APIs, or AI. Design and develop production-grade solutions and reusable automation components. Support AI-enabled use cases such as data extraction, classification, workflow routing, reconciliation support, and exception handling. Own testing, monitoring, controls, exception handling, documentation, and production support.

Define success measures and deliver improvements in efficiency, accuracy, straight-through processing, and operational risk. Partner with Finance SMEs, data owners, Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders. Break down work, clarify ownership, review detailed solutions, and support team members. Communicate progress, risks, dependencies, and technical concepts clearly to stakeholders.

Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field; equivalent practical experience may also be considered. 7+ years of relevant experience in automation, software engineering, data engineering, intelligent workflows, business analysis, or digital transformation. Experience personally delivering a production solution from discovery through implementation and support.

Strong programming experience in Python or a similar language. Experience designing solutions across data, applications, APIs, workflows, and business processes. Experience with testing, monitoring, exception handling, and production support. Experience assessing business challenges and identifying the most effective solution, whether through process redesign, custom development (code), low-code/no-code platforms, RPA, AI or other technology-enabled approaches.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills. Ability to lead a workstream, clarify ownership, review quality, and support team members. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Power Automate, Power Apps, Copilot Studio, AI Builder, UiPath, Blue Prism, or similar tools. Experience with GenAI, LLM, RAG, OCR, intelligent document processing, or process mining.

Experience with APIs, SQL, data pipelines, ETL/workflows, Git, or CI/CD. Experience in Finance, FinTech, tax technology, e-commerce, or marketplace businesses. Knowledge of audit, SOX, access controls, or change management. Lean Six Sigma or other process improvement experience. Success in This Role Success will be demonstrated through: End-to-end delivery of reliable production automation solutions.

Strong controls, monitoring, documentation, and production support. Effective collaboration with business and technology stakeholders. Evidence of coaching and supporting team members. Important Note About This Role This is a hands-on JC4 Team Lead position .

The role is not limited to traditional RPA development and does not require expertise in every automation, AI, infrastructure, and DevOps tool. The core requirement is the ability to design and deliver practical end-to-end automation solutions across data, systems, processes, and business hand-offs. We value strong delivery evidence, technical judgment, stakeholder management, and the ability to improve a workstream more than a long list of tools or certifications.
