Minibar In-Charge

Job Description: The Minibar In-Charge is responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Minibar section, ensuring all guest room minibars are replenished, accurately inventoried, and billed in accordance with Fairmont luxury service standards. The role supports the delivery of a seamless guest experience by maintaining high levels of service, supervising the minibar team, and ensuring compliance with Fairmont policies, procedures, and brand standards while maximizing revenue opportunities. Reporting to the Outlet Manager, Food & Beverage responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following: Consistently offer professional, friendly and engaging service Report for duty punctually, in full uniform according to appearance and grooming standards Promote and maintain a positive working relationship at all times with all the Colleagues of Fairmont Dubai Follow all departmental policies, procedures and set service standards Consistently offer professional, friendly and warm hospitality to all Guests Supervise and support Minibar Attendants during daily operations. Plan and assign daily replenishment schedules based on occupancy and room status. Ensure all minibars are stocked according to approved par levels and brand standards. Conduct daily, weekly and monthly inventory counts and investigate discrepancies. Monitor expiry dates, product quality and storage conditions. Ensure minibar consumption is posted accurately to guest accounts in a timely manner. Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office and Finance regarding room status, billing and guest requests. Prepare beverage and snack requisitions and maintain adequate stock levels. Train team members on SOPs, hygiene, safety and luxury service standards. Monitor wastage, breakage and cost control initiatives. Handle guest enquiries or complaints relating to minibar service professionally. Ensure compliance with HACCP, health & safety and company policies. Prepare operational reports and assist during audits. Able to answer any Guest question about food items, beverages and wines in an informative and helpful way Communicate all service requirements to the respective team members in an efficient and effective way Attend pre-shift, weekly and monthly meetings to be well-informed about all events, promotions and other news Carry out any miscellaneous duties and responsibilities as requested by your Manager pertaining to total quality service delivered Ensure full compliance of JDP & Corporate F&B Standards

Qualifications: Preferred previous Minibar experience of minimum two years in a luxury hotel, including supervisory exposure Excellent F&B knowledge / Wine, Spirits and liqueurs & Cigars. Wine and Spirits certificates are an asset Excellent interpersonal skills and a team player attitude Willingness to learn new concepts and ideas Good knowledge of inventory control and POS systems. Strong communication, organizational and leadership skills. Ability to work flexible shifts. Highly responsible & reliable Ability to focus attention on Guest needs, remaining calm and courteous at all times
